Course Description:

This broadcast will discuss one of the most common issues facing the elderly population – proper communication protocols between providers, staff, family, and others involved in the elderly care process. Situations such as transition of care, change in condition, the development of pressure ulcers or falls, and relations between a medical director and long-term care staff all require that proper communication procedures be followed in order to achieve positive outcomes.
