Course Description:
Federal and State Surveyors
- To inform nursing home staff regarding the “Advancing Excellence in America’s Nursing Homes” coalition, this is a two year, coalition-based campaign concerned with how we care for elderly and disabled citizens.
- To provide an MDS 3.0 review resident assessment approaches and tools to assess resident’s depression and pain.
- To provide information regarding the important CMS initiative, a national nursing home time study titled Staff Time and Resource Intensity Verification (STRIVE).
